Director of Marketing
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Marketing will lead the Marketing Team, including three demand generation teams: Direct, Partner Channels, and Customer. This role exists to drive pipeline and hit revenue goals – full stop. You are accountable for marketing’s contribution to the number, and you will build, coach, and hold your team to that standard. Collaborating closely with Sales and Product, you will craft a compelling multi-year demand generation strategy, content, and offerings tailored to key buyer personas throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to retention and expansion. You bring both demand generation depth and product marketing experience, enabling you to connect market positioning to pipeline in a way that drives real revenue impact.
As the primary owner of the marketing-sourced pipeline within FRONTSTEPS, you will drive the strategy and execution of all demand generation programs. These encompass in-person and virtual events, SEM, SEO, content syndication, and lifecycle marketing initiatives. All geared towards boosting market awareness and fueling demand to expedite pipeline and sales growth. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you have a passion for testing, learning, and iterating. Your approach is data-driven, demonstrating deep expertise in measuring, tracking, and reporting on demand generation programs. You are responsible for not just running the team but evolving the strategy and outpacing the competition. You are also expected to be a confident and proactive user of AI tools, leveraging them to fill capability gaps on your team, accelerate execution, and do more with less without waiting for headcount or budget to solve every problem.
