POSITION OVERVIEW 
The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical part in driving strategic business decisions, financial planning, and operational excellence across the organization.  To be successful in this role, the Senior FP&A Analyst must be a critical thinker, skilled communicator, and collaborative partner who can deliver clear financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
Strategic Business Support  

1. Support strategic initiatives such as pricing, go-to-market investments, and capital allocation decisions with thoughtful analytics.  

2. Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business opportunities.  

3. Serve as a thought partner to leadership, recommending strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.  

1. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.  

2. Partner with business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into financial outcomes.  

3. Develop and maintain pro forma financial models to support business strategy and decision-making.  

1. Provide variance analysis and strategic insights against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.  

2. Regularly review KPIs, highlighting trends and actionable insights.  

3. Support internal partners in improving the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.  

4. Leverage BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to deliver dynamic dashboards and analytics.  

1. Partner with Accounting to ensure financials align with business performance.  

2. Assist Product, Sales, and Operations in forecasting revenue, expenses, and headcount.  

3. Communicate financial insights in a clear, executive-ready format to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.  

Performs other related duties as requested by management. 
 
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.  
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.  
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail.  
Experience with financial planning tools and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.   
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial insights to strategic objectives.  
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive and non-financial stakeholders.  
Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence decision-making.  
Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  
Ability to work in the office full-time with Denver Denver-based leadership team.

PAY RANGE & DESCRIPTION 
This position will be based full-time out of our FRONTSTEPS' Denver, CO headquarters and pays an annual salary of $90,000 - $125,000.
